Charity fundraiser for Kindergarden Huaran Peru

I would like to thank all the wonderful people who came to our charity tea and cake fundraiser and thank you for being so very generous. We raised a total of S/ 570.00 and this is so greatly needed. A very big thankyou to Gabriel and Irene for making all the yummy cakes

As you all know the school has been asked to vacate the premises they are in now and we went along to view the new building. Sadly it is not suitable for animals and we where so shocked by what we saw, we approached the cooprativa. Only to be told that this was only a suggestion and they will be getting a piece of land and building a new place. I have had many dealings with the cooprativa and have seen money wasted on a hostel that for three years has remained closed.
I feel we need to give the children the right they deserve, a place to call there own, of which the coopratva can not take away for there own gain.

Our idea is to find a small piece of land from the local people in the community and work with the people to build a new Kindergarden. We need to raise funds for the building and people to help in what ever way they can.

We are very lucky here at The Green House with all the amazing, kind, carring and generous people we have coming to stay and i would like to thank you all for all your donations. A special thanks to Charlie Lee Brown and Donna Krzemiew who brought many clothes and toys for the children, very very thoughtful.

So my dear friends our work has just begun and i ask all of you for any suggestions or help in our building of the new kindergarden.
